Hello Brethren,
The year is already flying by! To round out the first quarter, I thought we’d take a quick look at what we are doing at the moment. The Red Cross gave us a presentation in February, requesting blood donations; so we will decide what to do with that at the Stated on March 3rd.
We have the Division Leadership Conference on the 15th of March in Waynesboro, at 1200 W Main Street, Waynesboro, VA 22980. This is a great place to meet your counterparts, and interact with some of the Grand Lodge Officers. We will carpool so everyone doesn’t have to drive. You can RSVP on Grandview. Dress is suit or coat and tie. We’ll stop for lunch afterward. Let me know if you via email or text message if you want to go.
We initiated a new member in February, so we now have 2 Fellowcrafts and 4 Entered Apprentices, as well as several prospects. Additionally, we balloted on an affiliation last month, and read the petition for another affiliation which we will ballot on at this month’s Stated Communication.
Ritual night will be the 17th of March. April 19th will be a Lodge Beautification Day. We will do lots of cleaning and some other work. Your Temple Committee is preparing a prioritized list of items for the day.
Our Lodge is growing and people are seeing our good works. Several of the prospects specifically mentioned our community involvement and how they want to be a part of that.
I have a nice meal lined up for the this month’s Stated Communication on March 3rd, see the flyer for details! The program this month will be on Masonic Aprons. Finally, if you haven’t been to Lodge in a while, take a break from life and join us. We are always happy to have people on the sidelines.
